◆ In-Game Rules ◆

1. Never under any circumstances use a hack client, X-Ray, seed crackers, or other forms of cheating.
   Any third-party client or mod that gives you an unfair edge (seeing through blocks, auto-generating ore locations, or cracking the world seed) is cheating. Stick to vanilla and staff-approved quality-of-life mods only.
2. No auto-totem, auto-clickers, macros, or automation mods such as Baritone. Play with your own hands.
   Anything that automates your actions for you is banned. That covers auto-totem modules, auto-clickers, keybind macros, auto-fishing, and pathfinding or auto-mining mods such as Baritone. Staff will catch what automated checks miss, and using one in a fight is treated the same as any other cheat.
3. Do not use chat, voice chat, or /msg (/w, /tell, /r, /reply) to hate against someone for reasons related to their race, sexuality, or identity. This rule is also broken if I, or another admin/moderator decides you have used chat inappropriately.
   Keep every channel (public chat, voice, and private messages) respectful. Slurs and harassment targeting who someone is are never tolerated, and staff have the final say on what counts as inappropriate.
4. Do not share anyone's real-life personal information without their consent.
   Posting or threatening to post someone's real name, address, socials, or any private details (doxxing) is never allowed, whether in game, in voice, or in DMs. This applies even if the information was shared with you willingly in the past.
5. Do not post malicious links, IP grabbers, or anything built to harm another player's device or account.
   Sharing IP loggers (like Grabify), phishing links, malware, or any link meant to steal information or damage someone's device or account is an instant, permanent ban. If you are not certain a link is safe, don't post it.
6. No advertising other servers, Discords, or communities.
   Don't post other server IPs, Discord invites, or promotions in chat, DMs, or voice. Talking about other servers casually is fine, actively trying to pull players away from LarperSMP is not.
7. Do not impersonate staff, admins, or other players.
   Pretending to be an admin, moderator, or another player to trick, scam, or mislead people is not allowed. Staff will never ask for your password or account details, so treat anyone who does as a scammer. Larping as your own approved YouTuber is the whole point of the server and is not impersonation.
8. Combat Logging: You will be permanently banned if you are caught combat logging repeatedly.
   Disconnecting to escape a fight is combat logging. Slip up once and you'll be warned; do it again and again, and the ban is permanent. Finish the fight or accept the loss.
9. Do not evade bans with alternate accounts, and do not use alts to gain an unfair advantage.
   If you are banned, that ban applies to you, not just one account. Hopping onto an alt to get back on the server extends the ban. Alts used to stack extra kits, dodge PvP consequences, or gang up on someone in a fight are not allowed either.
10. Game Breaking Exploits: Do not use game breaking exploits that may lag or disrupt the server, give you access to unlimited amounts of items, or operator/admin access. (BREAKING THIS WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE PERMANENT BAN)
    This covers anything that crashes or lags the server, duplicates items infinitely, or hands you staff-level permissions. There are no warnings and no second chances for this one. The ban is instant.
11. If you find a new dupe or exploit, report it instead of abusing it.
    Tripwire and string dupes are fine (see What's Allowed), but if you discover a new item dupe or any exploit that isn't already permitted, report it in Discord instead of using or sharing it. Abusing an unreported exploit falls under the game breaking exploits rule above.
12. No base griefing or stealing: Do not grief or steal from other players' bases.
    Breaking, burning, blowing up or otherwise wrecking someone else's base or builds is not allowed, and neither is taking items from their chests, barrels, shulkers or anything else stored there. Loot that drops when you kill a player in a fight is fair game. Fight the player, not their house.

◆ Larping & SMPs ◆

Your Larp

1. You larp as the Minecraft YouTuber you picked in your application, under your SMP's rules below.
   Your YouTuber needs 100k+ subscribers and a unique skill, trait or ability that few other players have (for example Wemmbu for Mace PvP, or TheobaldTheBird for Cart PvP). Staff set your larp name and kit for you once your application is approved, and you play to your YouTuber's strengths.

Your SMP

1. Unstable SMP: Kicked on death with a Wither spawn sound on death. Dying 3 times in one day results in a 3 day ban.
   Every death plays the Wither spawn sound and kicks you from the server. Die more than 3 times within a day and you are banned for 3 days.
2. Lifesteal SMP: Can gain and lose hearts from/to other players. If you run out of hearts, you are banned for 3 days.
   Killing another player steals one of their hearts, and losing a fight to another player costs you one. Reach zero hearts and you are banned for 3 days (or revived early by another Lifesteal player).
3. Strength SMP: Can gain up to +5 strength, cannot use strength potions.
   Strength is earned by killing players and adds attack damage, up to +5. Strength potions are off limits to Strength SMP players.
4. Bliss SMP: Wield a gem with its own passives and abilities. Gain energy by killing players and lose it when you die.
   Every Bliss player owns one gem. Hold it in your offhand for its passives and click to use its abilities. Each player kill earns energy and each death costs some. Low energy ruins your passives, and with none left your gem is broken until you earn energy back.

◆ Playing Guidelines ◆

Teams

1. Max team size: 5 players.
   A team can have at most 5 members. Bigger groups make fights one-sided for everyone else, so keep your team at 5 or fewer.

Inventory

1. Kit rules: Max 2 totems of undying. Maximum TNT Minecarts: 8. Max E-Gaps: 2.
   Combat kits are capped to keep fights fair. At any time you may carry at most 2 totems of undying, 8 TNT minecarts, and 2 enchanted golden apples. Bringing more than the limit into a fight breaks this rule.

Play Styles

1. No naked killing.
   Don't kill players who have no armour or gear equipped. Give them a fair chance to arm up, or leave them alone; hunting the defenceless isn't the vibe.
2. No water fighting. Fight on land only.
   All fights must happen on solid ground. Luring opponents into water to cancel their knockback and slow their movement is off-limits. Keep it fair on land.
3. No restocking mid-fight: Do not grab gear or loot from chests, shulker boxes or your ender chest during a fight.
   Once a fight has started, you can't run to storage to resupply. That covers normal chests, barrels, shulker boxes and your ender chest. Stock up before you fight, not during it.

Disallowed Items

1. Do not use End Crystals or Respawn Anchors in PvP, or traps.
   End crystals and respawn anchors deal huge burst damage and are banned from all combat and trap setups. Keep them out of PvP entirely: no crystal PvP, no anchor traps.
